15 AUG: TRAVEL DAY

Participants arrive in Kajaani/Vuokatti. Check-in at Break Sokos Hotel Vuokatti. The opening ceremony (DAY 1) and the workshops (DAY 2) will both take place at the hotel.

16 AUG: DAY 1

08.00-09.00     Breakfast and registration

09.00-10.30      Opening ceremony - Speeches, introduction to this year's topic, practical information
                           (coffee/tea and refreshments will be served at 10.00)

                            

10.30-12.00       Outdoor activities - Orienteering / Getting to know each other​

12.00-13.00        Lunch (at the hotel restaurant)

13.00-17.00        Outdoor activities continue - We visit the Vuokatti Sports Adventure Park

17.00-18.00        BRYC Council Meeting / Free time for all other participants 

​

18.00-20.00       Dinner at Kammi restaurant

20.00-22.00      Storytime & Campfire - An hour to experience a phone free evening with storytelling and                                board games

17 AUG: DAY 2

08.00-09.00      Yoga (Gym room, Break Sokos Hotel)

10.00-12.00        Workshop: "Innovate a public event in nature around modern technology"

                             by Juho Räsänen. 

                             Gen Z is the rising majority of attendees at events. They are comfortable with technology                                 and social media. But how can we plan events in a new, different way? Imagine an event                                 tech ahead, around apps – without the need of a specific time or place, designed in a way                               that makes people move in nature. During the workshop “Innovate a public event in                                         nature around modern technology” you will become familiar with different app-planning                                 basics, hear a couple of concept examples and get to innovate your own event concept.

13.00-16.00        Workshop: "Build & Play Academy" with Launch Pad Finland. 

                             Make the world your playground with Build & Play Academy! ”All work and no play will                                       make you sad and grey” - said Akande. We will bring you a GYM for imagination and                                           creativity and some funny actives with #bigblueblocks.
